James Sindelar is the Senior Vice President, Strategic Relationships at JAG Capital Management (JAG). He is a shareholder of the firm and serves on JAG’s Senior Management Committee. James is responsible for expanding the geographic footprint of JAG’s institutional advisor, consultant, and intermediary firm channels through relationship-driven investment management solutions. He has been with JAG since 2013.

Prior to JAG, James was a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch where he worked closely with high net worth individuals, families, and businesses. His experience in this role helps guide his unique approach to relationship management.

James received his MBA in Finance from the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business at Saint Louis University. He is president of St. Clement of Rome School Board and co-founder of The Luca Foundation, whose mission is to ensure children with acute medical illnesses are given the tools and support necessary to succeed in school.

James lives in St. Louis with his wife Maria and their five children. He enjoys spending his free time with his family, honing his barbecue skills on the smoker, and coaching his son’s hockey team.
